Weight loss and how to achieve it is a huge topic in America today. ABC News ran an article on May 8, 2012 whose title said it all: 100 Million Dieters, $ 20 Billion: The Weight Loss Industry By the Numbers. In 2009 alone, there were 220,000 people struggling with morbid obesity who opted for weight loss surgery, including lap band and gastric bypass. Bariatric surgeon Dr. Madan says that the real success of any of these 220,000 people who had a LAP-BAND

The phased surgical approach taken by actress Angelina Jolie for her preventive double mastectomy is not the only option available to women undergoing breast reconstruction surgery, according to Thousand Oaks plastic surgeon Dr. Kouros Azar (http://www.azarplasticsurgery.com).
Jolie's recent announcement about her double mastectomy drew attention to genetic testing that can gauge a woman's risk of cancer. But it also highlighted the decisions women face about breast reconstruction.
"Ms. Jolie's choice of tissue expanders for her breast reconstruction is appropriate for many women," Dr. Azar says. "But for other women undergoing a preventive mastectomy or those diagnosed with breast cancer, my Thousand Oaks practice offers reconstruction options that include having implants inserted at the time of the mastectomy or using a patient's own tissue to reconstruct the breast mound."
What's important, says Dr. Azar, is that women know they have choices, including the choice not to reconstruct their breasts.
"Many women choose immediate breast reconstruction with implants," Dr. Azar says. "This eliminates the need for additional surgery and provides the psychological benefit of minimizing the deformity after mastectomy." But, either because of personal preference or body type, he says, immediate reconstruction isn't always the best choice.
Using tissue expanders does involve additional plastic surgery, says the Thousand Oaks surgeon. By performing the reconstruction in stages using expanders, new skin is actually created in much the same way as during a pregnancy. In the case of breast reconstruction, implants are inserted into the extra space. Jolie's surgeon at the Pink Lotus Breast Center provides a detailed look at the multiple phases involved with the celebrity's care (http://www.pinklotusbreastcenter.com/breast-cancer-101/2013/05/a-patients-journey-angelina-jolie/).
Other women choose what's known as autologous flap reconstruction, which means the surgeon uses the patient's own tissue taken from a donor site in another area of the body, such as the abdomen, the latissimus dorsi, or the buttocks. An innovative procedure, called DIEP (deep inferior epigastric perforators) flap reconstruction, involves complicated microsurgery, Dr. Azar says, but it is becoming a preferred method because it preserves the strength of abdominal muscles, requires a shorter recovery, and provides a slimmer appearance.
No matter what a woman ultimately decides, Dr. Azar says, her choice should be based on her preference after discussing all of her options with her physician.
Dr. Kouros Azar (http://www.azarplasticsurgery.com) is a board-certified plastic surgeon serving Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Agoura Hills, and Westlake Village. After earning his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Azar completed a general surgery residency at University of Arizona and a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Utah. He is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery. He performs a variety of reconstructive and cosmetic surgical techniques for the face, breast, and body, and he offers a wide range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
Retinol, a vitamin A derivative, is one of the few ingredients that has been proven clinically to be a superior anti-aging ingredient for skin care.
What does Retinol do? Here is a summary:
Retinol is commonly listed as the the cure-all and among the best anti-aging ingredients we have, according to a clinical professor of dermatology at Yale. Retinol, which is a vitamin A derivative, sloughs skin and removes dead cells, older skin, boosts the all-important collagen and helps new, fresh skin to appear. It also pumps up circulation.
Vtamin A is unique because it can act as an antioxidant and it can get deep into the skin thanks to a smaller molecular size. Retinol does not only help the outer skin but penetrates and binds well with receptors to encourage new healthy growth and collagen production. However, Retinol can be harsh on some skins, which can also become more photo-sensitive.

Mr Rooter Tip of The Day: Designing, installing, operating, and maintaining plumbing systems to minimize Legionella bacteria is key to reducing risk of disease.
Based on currently available knowledge and technology, minimizing Legionella bacteria in water systems is the primary means of prevention, says Bob Beall, licensed master plumber and owner of Mr Rooter Plumbing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. According to data collected by Nelli Black and Drew Griffin, CNN, twenty-nine patients at the Veterans Administration hospital in Pittsburgh have been diagnosed with Legionnaires disease since December 2011.
It is not surprising that plumbing systems are implicated in a significant number of Legionnaires outbreaks they provide a good habitat for Legionella, warns Beall. Designing, installing, operating, and maintaining plumbing systems to minimize Legionella bacteria is key to reducing risk of disease.
In the United States, Legionaires disease is a reportable disease by law to the local public health department and the CDC. Most health departments will not do a follow-up unless many patients contract the illness, according to Victor L. Yu, MD, Professor of Medicine, Unviersity of Pittsburgh; Chief, Infectious Disease Section, VA Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA, USA. According to CNN, the facility became aware of the deadly situation approximately one year ago and failed to report the airborne pathogen until early November 2012.
According to the mission statement provided by HC Information Resources Inc., Matt Freije, founder and president, provides information and consulting services to protect health and life by reducing the risk of Legionella and other waterborne pathogens. In agreement with Beall, a trusted Pittsburgh plumber, it is morally and ethically necessary when many of these deaths could be prevented because, unlike most pneumonias, the source (e.g., a hot-water system) of Legionnaires cases can be identified. But if Legionella is not recognized as the cause, no investigation ensues to pinpoint and disinfect the source, so the same source remains a threat. Anderson Cooper, CNN, reported Wednesday night that Tory Schira, of LiquiTech Environmental Solutions referred to the outbreak as inexplicable, stating that the hospital knew it had a problem, was warned about it and did not fix it.
Legionnaires disease acquired its name in July 1976 when an outbreak of pneumonia occurred among people attending a convention of the American Legion at the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel in Philadelphia. On January 18, 1977 the causative agent was identified as a previously unknown strain of bacteria, subsequently named Legionella. Some people can be infected with the Legionella bacteria and have only mild symptoms or no illness at all. It has been reported that a VA spokesman David Cowgill would not agree to an interview. Instead, he released media advisories, one of which concluded: VA is committed to providing safe facilities and quality care for veterans.
Mr Rooter Plumbing Pittsburgh, according to Beall, understands and implements Legionella-preventive designs and specifications, not only for the moral obligation to protect health and life, but to reduce legal risk. If you design a plumbing system for a building that is implicated in a case of Legionnaires disease, you may be sued by the person who got sick, or by his or her family if the case is fatal, says Beall.
Legionellae can grow in a home plumbing system although most cases have been traced to large buildings. The plumbing system (via showers and faucets), whirlpool spas and bathtubs, and humidifiers present a potential risk of legionellae exposure in homes. These units are impossible to clean as they have internal piping that are prone to biofilm production, according to Beall. The preventable disease is contracted by inhaling airborne water droplets containing legionellae.
Commercial and home units alike need to be cleaned with Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) at a pH of 5-6 so as to maximize the oxidation process. This cleaning process is beyond the capability of a homeowner, janitor, general plumber or the appliance vendor because poisonous chlorine fumes will be generated. Some debate offers that the homeowner can filter the water before it comes into the house and possibly turn the temperature up on the hot water tank, (which could lead to a void in the warranty if setting the thermostat beyond 120
In a recent interview, Gail Bowman, owner of Health Food Emporium, said Everyone is interested in doing better for the new year. But the biggest gift you can give yourself is better health. I have 5 top Resolutions that can help people to get better health for themselves and their families this year.
Here are Ms Bowmans 5 top Resolutions for 2013:
1. Work on losing weight. There is a lot of new research out there to help with losing weight. Researchers have know for several years that Fucoxanthin, the main ingredient in Garden of Lifes Fucothin, aids weight loss. According to a study done in 2007, Japanese researchers found that fucoxanthin induced between 10 and 12 pounds more weight loss compared with placebo over a 16-week period in women who consumed 1,800 calories per day. This study also showed beneficial reductions in visceral body fat. Excess amounts of visceral body fat are linked to insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
In addition, according to Gail Bowman, You cant depend on a weight loss supplement alone, a high protein, low carb, low calorie diet in addition to regular exercise will help you on your way to a new, slimmer you this year.
2. Eat better quality, more nutritious foods. In a series of articles on the dangers of fast foods, Dr Mercola explains that fast food, or junk foods, that are so common in our lives today, actually can cause neurological problems, diabetes and obesity in our children! Dr Don Colbert even shows us that there are many easy, fast diet foods that are dangerously high in chemicals and sugar!
So what to do? Ms Bowman says,Look for low sugar, low carb foods made entirely of foods that you can recognize. If you are reading a label and you dont recognize a food, it probably isnt food! Go Organic and grass fed with no added hormones or antibiotics whenever you can. This takes determination, and true dedication, but making fresh veggies the majority of your familys meal, instead of the side dish, actually costs less than buying fast food.
3. Avoid Toxins in your foods and in your environment. Dr Don Colbert recently wrote, here are several steps you can take to decrease the amount of toxins entering your body. Begin by learning which products are safer for your skin and hair care routine. According to Ms Bowman, you can start by educating yourself about the toxins in your household cleaners, skin and hair care products, and in normal household items like fluorescent light bulbs.
4. Do some sort of exercise every day. In a recent article, John Abdo, a Fitness Trainer, wrote, There have been studies showing that regular exercise over long periods of time reduces the risk of heart attacks, improves lung function, lowers blood glucose, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels, and improves muscle and bone strength with advancing age. These studies suggest that exercise can extend lifespan...
Ms Bowman says, Exercise doesnt have to mean a gym membership. It just means being in motion. So, exercise is cleaning the house, walking, biking, swimming, playing with the grandkids, gardening, etc. Try to be moving in a way that gets your heart rate up and gets you out of your usual rut, for at least 1 hour every day.
5. Reduce your stress. In a recent article, Dr Mercola said, One of the most common problems I hear from patients is that they felt fatigued, anxious or depressed. And they often have trouble sleeping -- even though they are exhausted.
According to Ms Bowman, almost all of us are over stressed these days, but we can consciously make choices that will reduce our stress. She says, Eat healthy meals and feed your body so you can fight off the effects of stress; Consider taking herbal supplements that help your body to respond in a healthy way to cortisol; get exercise every day; find a job that is less stressful or that gives you more feelings of achievement; and set out to reduce your debt load this year, not increase it as so many of us tend to do.
By choosing to improve our lifestyle, our diet and our financial position, we can make 2013 the 'best of years'. This year, make and keep resolutions that will improve your life by improving your health.
Report Buyer has added a new report "Cosmeceuticals Market to 2018; Technological Advances and Consumer Awareness Boost Commercial Potential for Innovative and Premium-Priced Products". The report provides insights into the global cosmeceuticals market, which comprises the top seven developed markets: the US, the top five European countries (the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain) and Japan, with market forecasts until 2018.
According to the report the global cosmeceuticals market was estimated to be worth $ 30.9 billion in 2011. The market is forecast to hit $ 42.4 billion by 2018 at a CAGR of 4.6%. The industry has three major categories: skin care, hair care, and others. The skin care segment accounts for the largest share of the market with 43%. As it is dominated by anti-aging products it is expected to contribute significantly to future market growth owing to the aging populations in the top seven developed markets.
Cosmeceutical brand growth is further driven by expanded markets in Asia-Pacific, digital marketing and the offer of personalised customer experiences and e-commerce. Demand is driven by the emergence of the urban middle class with increased incomes, affordability and urbanisation who demand efficient products and luxury brands. Anti-oxidants remain one of the most popular ingredients for skin care and are now being included in other healthcare regimens for their perceived benefits to overall health.
The global cosmeceuticals market was estimated to be worth $ 30.9 billion in 2011 with the top five European countries accounting for approximately 65% of overall revenues. Global refers to the seven most developed markets: the US; the top five European countries, namely the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain; and Japan. The market grew at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 3.6% from $ 24.1 billion in 2004 to $ 30.9 billion in 2011 and is expected to reach $ 42.4 billion by 2018 at a CAGR of 4.6%. The industry has three major categories: skin care, hair care, and others. The skin care segment accounts for the largest share of the market with 43%. As it is dominated by anti-aging products it is expected to contribute significantly to future market growth owing to the aging populations in the top seven developed markets.
Cosmeceuticals Industry Dominated by a Few Large Players with High-Performance Brands
The market is dominated by a small number of large players; their success is driven by building big brands through access to large marketing budgets. However, the cosmeceuticals market has demand for both mass-market and premium products, prompting even these large players to showcase brands in both product ranges. Although the premium product segment declined during the recession in 2008 and 2009, it picked up by 2011 with premium brands. With an aging population and increasing consumer awareness, demand for high-quality, innovative and premium-priced cosmeceutical products are increasing in the top seven global markets. Demand is further boosted by increasing urbanization and affordability in emerging markets such as Latin America, China and India. The per-capita disposable income is steadily increasing in these economies, making it a lucrative growth target for the cosmetics industry.
The Term "Cosmeceuticals" is Not Recognized by Regulatory Agencies
The term "cosmeceuticals" is applied to products that are intended for skin, hair or sun care and involve an active ingredient that aims to alter physiological function in order to achieve the intended results. Although the term is not recognized by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), it has been widely adopted by the cosmetics industry, which is rapidly expanding in spite of global economic woes in recent years. In the US, products that can be put in both the cosmetics and drugs category, such as cosmetic products with active ingredients which claim therapeutic use, require New Drug Application (NDA) approval or must comply with the appropriate monograph for an Over-the-Counter (OTC) drug. Moreover, the FDA also has specific guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for cosmetics. In Europe, EMA guidelines place a clear demarcation between drugs and cosmetics, whereby a cosmetic is a product that is to be applied topically with an intended cosmetic function and products cannot fall under both categories, unlike in the US. Among major markets, Japans Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) classify cosmetic products with drug-like benefits as quasi-drugs and require prior marketing approval.
Scope of the report:
As the warm weather heats up, call volumes to seasonal businesses heat up, too. And when it does, says Julie Cook, CEO of Easy On Hold, those businesses should take advantage of the increased call volume by marketing to callers on hold with custom music and advertisements.
Businesses like vacation resorts, golf courses, RV dealers, outdoor attractions, landscaping, air conditioning and home repair services see an upswing in call volume during the spring and summer months. Its one of the best times to manage the increased hold time by introducing a custom on hold messaging program to close more sales. It really works, Cook say.
If your business generates most of its revenue in one or two seasons of the year, you must do everything you can to educate your callers on what you can do for them. Youll also improve the on hold experience, not to mention reducing hang ups, because youve improved the on hold experience, she adds. Strike while the weather is hot and youll see sales increase.
Cook says that silence on hold can cause hang ups or frustration because the caller perceives theyve been left unattended or forgotten. If you receive a barrage of interested callers all at once and put them on hold in silence, how many will still be there when you pick up the line again? The answer is, not many. In fact, an AT&T study showed that after 60 seconds of silence, most callers put on hold will hang up, and half of them will never call back, Cook says.
She says examples of on hold messaging content includes a sale or special offer, packages, financing deals, and tips and ideas for how to use your product and service. Think of the time-sensitive information that you know they need to know or want them to know; this information can programmed into the on hold player with start and end dates so your callers dont hear old information, Cook says. If your phone system only takes files, we can accommodate that, too.
Cook says that the goal is to think like your customers are thinking. Once school lets out for the summer, families are on the move, searching for new activities, exploring, needing service on their vehicles, or looking for an easy care hair style, Cook says. This seasonal upswing can be a perfect time to use your on hold messaging and music to create a mood, and keep your customers interested in what you have to offer.
Seasonal marketing boosts from well-written copy, combined with just the right style of licensed music, are what we do exceptionally well, Cook adds. Weve helped companies ranging from a local pool cleaning service to regional credit unions offering great summer rates on home remodeling loans, right up to working with prime vacation destinations and large cruise lines. Sure, managing the cash flow and hiring the right employees are vital aspects, but its also important for a seasonal business to take advantage of every affordable marketing option--like on hold messaging--to get the most out of their prime sales periods.
Cook adds, Tony Hsieh, the CEO of Zappos, says that the telephone is the best branding device out there, and he couldnt be more astute. I encourage all businesses, big and small, to follow Hsiehs lead by viewing your phone as an important asset to their marketing efforts. For as little as $ 39/month, you can have professional on hold messaging and music. What business can afford not to do it, at that rate?
Easy On Hold, http://www.easyonhold.com, created in 1997, provides professional telephone recordings, music and on hold message productions, auto attendant, IVR, voicemail greetings, and web audio to companies around the world.
The market for mens grooming products in UAE has been performing exceptionally well. The main reasons for growth include a large base of expatriates forming part of the young service class having high disposable incomes, increasing consciousness among men, particularly from the workplace. Men in the UAE are not as stringent about using cosmetics and grooming products when compared to the men in other gulf counterparts.
According to a recently published report by TechSci Research UAE Mens Grooming Products Market Forecast & Opportunities, 2018, the mens grooming products market in UAE is the largest and the fastest growing market when compared with other GCC countries. Given the rising consumer expenditure and growing demand for mens grooming products; the grooming products market holds huge potential in the UAE. TechSci Research estimates the mens grooming products market to grow beyond USD 84 Million revenues by the end of 2018.
The mens grooming products market of the UAE is made up of several multinationals, with most of them operating through regional offices. The market is growing at a slower rate compared to the global average as a large part of the market is still untapped. However, the market is witnessing a rise in the service sector of the grooming market as majority of the men in the country prefers spa treatments and salons over using the products by themselves.
The market is also experiencing trends such as societal and workplace status influencing the demand, introduction of Halal certified products in the market and increasing consumers expenditure. Factors such as increasing population, rising household incomes, improved demand for grooming services are constantly contributing to the increasing demand of grooming products and mens cosmetics in the country. UAE mostly imports all of its cosmetics and grooming products and re-exports some proportion of the same to the neighboring countries.
The consumer demographics of the UAE are considered as one of the major driving factors for this industry, which suggests that more men are now aware and conscious of their image and the importance of grooming, particularly as a social status symbol, said Mr. Karan Chechi, Research Director with TechSci Research a global management consulting firm.
The market for mens grooming products can be further classified into segments such as mens shaving products, fragrances, skincare products, other grooming products such as hair care and other toiletries. At present, mens shaving products market dominates the industry in terms of revenues. But, mens skincare products and hair care products are set to experience the highest growth over the next five years, amongst the various sub markets.
UAE Mens Grooming Products Market Forecast & Opportunities, 2018 has analyzed the growth potential of mens grooming products in UAE and provides statistics and information on market structure, consumer behavior trends, etc. The report includes mens grooming products market projections and demand forecasting. The report is intended to provide cutting-edge market intelligence and help decision makers to take sound investment evaluation. Besides, the report also identifies and analyzes the emerging trends along with essential drivers, challenges and opportunities available in mens grooming products market in UAE.
Bel Marra Health, who offers high-quality, specially formulated vitamins and nutritional supplements, is reporting on new research outlining one mans story of how he has cured his Crohns Disease.
As Bel Marra Health reports in its article (http://www.belmarrahealth.com/colon-and-digestive/man-claims-he-has-a-cure-for-crohns-disease/) Ari Meisel who lives in New York, has found a way to manage Crohns disease symptoms without drug therapy and believes that he has been cured of the disease.
His story may be an eye opener into how patients suffering from digestive problems, in particular Crohns disease, can lead a relatively normal life free of stomach and other gastrointestinal problems that are often debilitating and disruptive to normal life.
Crohns disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) which usually affects individuals aged 15-35. The intestines are usually affected, but the disease can affect anywhere from the mouth to the anus. The exact cause of Crohns disease is unknown but it is a type of autoimmune disorder where the immune system attacks and destroys healthy tissues. This leads to chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, which leads to all of the unpleasant symptoms that accompany the disease.
There are many symptoms of Crohns disease, according to the Mayo Clinic, including: diarrhea, abdominal pain and stomach cramping, bloody stools, ulcers, decreased appetite and weight loss. When Crohns disease is advanced, there may be additional symptoms including: fever, fatigue, inflammation of the eyes, skin disorders, mouth sores, liver and/or bile duct inflammation and delayed growth or sexual development (in children).
As the Bel Marra Health article reads, while the exact cause of Crohns disease is unknown, there are a number of factors that seem to be associated with the disease according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, including: genetics and family history of the disease, environmental factors, smoking and the tendency of the body to over-react to normal bacteria in the intestines.
Ari Meisel was taking 16 pills a day to manage his Crohns disease. However, he also admitted that he was smoking a pack of cigarettes per day and consuming fast food. Meisel reported that he was hospitalized for a bowel obstruction which led to an incredibly bad night in the hospital where he stated that he didnt think he was going to make it through the night. It was because of this experience, that Meisel decided that it was time to make changes to his diet and lifestyle.
It started with quitting smoking and eating a vegan diet for one month back in 2008. Slowly, he added small amounts of dairy back into his diet and became a vegetarian for six months. At this time he also started practicing yoga and started taking part in triathlons as a way to deal with his stress.
Ari Meisels story is a positive one that shows that the symptoms, including digestive problems and stomach issues, can be managed (not cured) with diet and lifestyle changes. However, it is important to remember that Meisel made all of these changes under the supervision of a medical professional.

Weight loss and fitness expert Mike T Nelson, an adjunct professor and member of the American College of Sports Medicine, says skipping breakfast is an easy way to lose weight.
I know this is somewhat of a controversial notion, said Nelson, who recently spoke at the 2013 Arnold Sports Festival. But scientific research as well as good old common sense is squarely on my side.
According to Nelson, whose research has been published in scientific journals, Unless youre raiding the fridge in the wee small hours of the morning, your insulin levels should be at their lowest point as you awake. Thats great for people interested in losing weight, because when insulin levels are low, it pushes your body to rely on stored body fat as its main energy source. The result? Youre going to burn more fat and lose weight faster.
Reduced caloric consumption is also an obvious, but it is an important benefit from blowing off breakfast to lose weight, he says. While there are a million diets on the market, the fact is that when it comes to weight loss calories still matter! Ive found that most people, if not all, can skip (or at least push out) breakfast and not feel deprived by doing either. The truth is that lots of people are simply so busy getting kids ready for school, and trying to get to work on time themselves, they dont have time for breakfast even if they wanted to roll through a fast food restaurant or stop for a jelly donut. By simplifying your morning by skipping breakfast, youll be consuming fewer calories, and naturally losing weight faster.
Nelson, who is a PhD candidate in Exercise Physiology and holds a Masters in Biomechanics, says this isnt only a theory; there is published research to back up the tactics of blowing off breakfast to encourage faster weight loss.
One of the most trusted forms of research methodology is a randomized, controlled trial, he says. In just such a study (Schlundt DG et al.) 52 overweight adults were divided into two groups. One group skipped breakfast and the other group ate breakfast. The no-breakfast group ate two meals per day, while the breakfast group ate three meals per day. Both groups consumed the same amount of calories only at different times.
The result? He said the group that blew off breakfast lost almost six more pounds than the breakfast-eating group. Im convinced, if you can manage to skip breakfast, youre going to lose weight faster without really having to work at it, adds Mike, who will be a featured speaker at the Leading Training & Fitness Conference April 13th at the Alexandria Technical & Community College in Alexandria, Minnesota. The moral of the story is to allow your body to burn fat on an empty stomach in the morning hours, instead of loading up on a carb-filled breakfast.

American adults who prepare their own meals and exercise on the same day are likely spending more time on one of those activities at the expense of the other, a new study suggests.
The research showed that a ten-minute increase in the time spent preparing food led to a ten minute reduction in exercise that day. The finding applied to single and married adults as well as parents and those who have no children.
Researchers analyzed nationally available data on more than 112,000 American adults who had reported their activities for the previous 24 hours.
Of those, 16 percent of men and 12 percent of women reported that they had exercised on the previous day. On average, men spent almost 17 minutes preparing food, compared to an average of 44 minutes for women.
The average time spent exercising for the entire sample of adults, including those who did not exercise, was 19 minutes for men and nine minutes for women.
This means that the average respondent, male or female, spent less than an hour on both exercise and food preparation on the same day.
Paul Howard, co-creator for DietAssist, said The problem is that our busy schedules often preclude us from exercising and preparing healthy meals so we turn to packaged meals and sauces that are high in sugar and fat.
This is part of the problem that is preventing people from losing weight. Another important factor is snacking and portion control. The trick to losing weight successfully is to get your brain thinking the right way which is exactly what the DietAssist programme helps you to do.
As weight control continues to be a problem in the UK it is vital to look into the way people feel about healthy activities and find ways to persuade people to stay fit and make healthy changes to their diet.
Alongside this it is important to get the psychology of losing weight right which makes it easier to lose weight and to maintain it long term.
The DietAssist programme is the result of over 20 years experience of helping people to lose weight effectively, and uses the latest psychological techniques to avoid the self sabotage and demotivation that dieters commonly experience.
The DietAssist programme helps dieters strengthen their motivation and resolve, and creates the optimum psychological state for success. It is designed to work alongside any weight loss programme or sensible eating plan.
