The National Council for Hypnotherapy Responds to New Study Revealing Behaviour of Patients Who Have Suffered a Stroke or Heart Disease

(PRWEB UK) 25 April 2013

According to The Spec, more than 14 percent of patients fail to adopt any healthy habits after suffering a stroke or with heart disease. Many other patients do not adopt enough of a healthier lifestyle in order to avoid reoccurring illnesses and disease. The study looked at three main health lifestyle choices, avoiding or quitting smoking, consuming a healthy diet and taking regular physical exercise. The findings were made from 154,000 adults across 178 countries with varying incomes over a seven year period. Only 4 percent adopted all three healthy lifestyle choices.

It seems that changing old habits such as stopping smoking, taking regular exercise and adopting a healthy diet are requirements that are difficult to do. Hypnotherapy can be used as a complementary approach to breaking bad habits such as smoking and overeating.

The National Council for Hypnotherapy is one of the most established hypnotherapy directories in the UK, listing qualified and experienced hypnotherapists throughout the British Isles that can help clients with a range of issues including smoking, weight loss and anxiety. It is possible to use a hypnotist to help make major lifestyle choices such as quitting smoking or changing eating habits forever as a representative explained, The desire to quit needs to be present in order for hypnotherapy to work alongside it and in turn strengthen and reinforce the determination to quit smoking or change eating habits forever.
