Summer is right around the corner and so is The Family Fun & Fit Expo. Birdys Families in Motion is proudly bringing a new and exciting event to families in the Central Valley. The event is being held in the Valdez Hall of the Fresno Convention Center on Saturday July 27th, 2013 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The event is general admission for adults and free for children under 12 yrs. old and seniors age 60+. This exciting event is designed to introduce Valley families to over 75 local companies and national brands that provide goods and services that make a childs life better and brings families together.
The Family Fun & Fit Expo has a great line up of exciting activities and entertainment. The event will feature a Family Fun Activity Zone with a giant inflatable obstacles course, human bowling and a state of the art mechanical bull. Entrance to the Family Fun Activity Zone will require the purchase of a wristband for $ 6.00 child or adult and 50% of the net sales of wristbands will be donated to the Child Life Center at Childrens Hospital Central California.
Attendees can also look forward to entertainment on the main stage including demonstrations from local martial arts and dance schools, a back-to-school fashion show, and a mascot dance off. Kids of all ages can enjoy the arts and craft activities, face painting and bubble shows. Parents will have a chance to meet Karate instructors, art teachers and soccer coaches. They can get the latest information on services and activities in the valley that will improve the quality of their lives. Families in Fresno, Clovis and surrounding areas can finally see all the Valley has to offer.

Birdys Kids in Motion was established in 2009, by Erin Burd, as a mobile dance and gymnastics company serving preschools, daycares, and private schools across the Central Valley. In 2013, Birdys launched Birdys Mommies in Motion and is the host of the Family Fun & Fit Expo. With that, they have adopted the new company name of Birdys Families in Motion.
