Renegade Steel Buildings Loses Their Hair to Fight Childhood Cancer

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 02, 2013

Renegade Steel Buildings has a reputation in the pre-engineered steel building industry of doing things right. This is the reason why we decided to help fund and support St. Baldricks effort in this fight against childhood cancer, says Kevin Welch (President of Renegade Steel Buildings).

St Baldricks indicates on their website that more children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other diseasein fact, more than many other childhood diseases combined. They raise and use funds to support clinical trials, build out infrastructure for research, and education of new Pediatric Oncology Researchers. They also focus on survivorship and supportive care research.

So with all the good things this charitable organization does; at least we offer up our hair to help support St. Baldrick, adds Welch. The event raised close to $ 6500. Welch says, There were some laughs and giggle when our volunteers bravely stepped up to be shaved but overall it was a good day."
