Oral Cancer Awareness Month Spurs Smileboston Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry to Share Important, Lifesaving Tips

According to the Oral Cancer Foundation, oral cancer causes over 8,000 deaths yearly, killing roughly one person per hour, 24 hours a day. Historically, the death rate associated with oral cancer is particularly high due to this type of cancer being routinely discovered late in its development. To increase awareness and help put an end to this deadly cycle, Dr. Spitz is sharing specific warning signs to look for.


Nearly 42,000 Americans will be diagnosed with oral or pharyngeal cancer this year.
