Healthy Spot, a Los Angeles based pet retailer and service provider, has been able to lead the way with awareness in nutrition, services, education and of course, a sense of fun within the community at the same time as bringing positive awareness to animal welfare. Healthy Spot is turning 5 this month. Being an active part of the community has been one of Healthy Spots missions from the start, which is why they are hosting a community celebration this Thursday, May 30th at their Santa Monica location to celebrate this important milestone. Attributing their viability to their loyal customers and partners of the past five years.
Healthy Spot co-owners Andrew Kim and Mark Boonnark feel that despite the changes they have seen among their competitors over the past five years, by focusing on what they do best, it has kept them ahead of the pack. We want to be a positive model in our industry as a company-- that you can do good by doing good things. From the start we have tried to run our business sticking to our core values and even in the face of economic uncertainty and risk, we stuck to our beliefs. We feel our success is validation of this idea, noted Kim. Its this sense of dedication which has led the community to embrace the Healthy Spot stores. I believe the success has been our customers and customer service. We have the most amazing and supportive customers that have continued to recommend us to their friends and family. We don't want to be just a place to shop but an experience for our customers and their pets.
Co-owner Boonnark agrees, reflecting back on how their now three stores have been embraced over the past five years. Our genuine focus on customer service and relationship building really is what set's us apart and has lead us to success. The trust that our client's have in us and the endorsement that they give us is really what keeps us alive. Boonnark adds, I have always believed that if we decided to do what was right by the animals and our clients that we would be rewarded at the end of the day. The Santa Monica Healthy Spot will be the place to be on Thursday, May 30th from 6pm-8pm as they celebrate this 5th anniversary. Free gift bags for the first 150 dogs, there will also be a photo booth, dog massages, special food and product vendors with lots of goodies, and even a Best Party Hat Contest best canine and best combo human/canine, of course! Proceeds raised from the events fundraiser will benefit the Bill Foundation, a Beverly Hills based Animal Rescue.
