Overlea Fullerton Business & Professional Association will be sponsoring the Spring Into Health Community Fair & Fresh Food Drive -- an event set up to focus on health and fresh foods. This food collection is unique when compared to others because it is one of the first fresh food collections. Since the event is on site we can collect items such as fresh veggies, milk, fruit, etc. and have them refrigerated immediately.
This effort is to incorporate a variety of local businesses and agencies that offer resources pertinent to our community. All donations benefit the Eastside Womens & Childrens Shelter. The kick-off is scheduled for 10am and will be going until 2pm. The food drive will take place in the parking lot circle on site of the Eastern Resource Center. The fair is free to the public, however, it is requested that a donation be made as admission. The event includes great music, popcorn, exciting entertainment and several giveaways! OFBPA will also be providing promotional items along with complimentary tote bags.
This is a chance for local businesses to get involved with the community. The goal is to host an event that will bring everyone together for a great cause and an enjoyable time.
Vendor space is of no cost to all hospital and county agencies that have FYI tables. As for any other businesses or vendors, space costs $ 30. All vendors are required to bring a food donation.
