LB Processors, LLC: Emu Oil Prices Vary Widely, But So Does Quality

Chapmansboro, TN (PRWEB) January 20, 2013

Many companies advertise that their emu oil products are pure, but as research that was presented at the July 12-15, 2012 AEA (American Emu Association) National Convention reveals, several emu oil products that are marketed and sold as "pure emu oil" are in fact, far from pure. Out of the 11 samples that the AEA tested for purity, more than half of them failed the test. The samples processed by LB Processors, LLC, were among those that passed the test for purity.

That is why AEA certification through the American Emu Association is so important. All emu oil processed by LB Processors, LLC and sold by Country Divine has that coveted certification, a distinction that assures potential consumers that the products have undergone thorough testing for purity. Unless a distributor is willing to allow the industry's regulatory agency to test their oil for purity to prove that their product is 100% pure, there is no guarantee that the product isn't cut with inferior carrier oils or not properly filtered. Emu oil that is not properly filtered is considered crude oil. Many of the non-AEA certified oils on the market are sold at lower prices, but they do not maintain the same anti-inflammatory properties that emu oil is known for.

The AEA seal of approval assures customers that all LB Processors oil is completely pure. The company's state-of the-art processing facility has the same recognition and approval that the state of Tennessee requires of their food processing facilities. The combination of their high-tech facility and their proprietary processing method, guarantees to consumers that they are purchasing a quality product.

Emu oil is valued for its moisturizing properties, healing properties, anti-inflammatory properties, and its ability to soothe skin irritations. It has been used on dogs to soothe skin irritation from hot spots, used to alleviate skin discomforts associated with radiation treatment for cancer, in shampoos as a moisturizing agent that helps relieve scalp itch and other symptoms related to dry hair.

Impure oils lack the valuable moisturizing properties that make this specific oil so effective for the purposes for which it is used, including personal care products that contain it. When distributors use carrier oils to cheapen their production costs, they risk damaging their credibility in the industry, but they also put the reputation of honest distributors at risk - even those whose oil has AEA certification.

LB Processors, LLC advises consumers to be cautious when looking at cheaper emu oil products. Additionally, company owner Paul Binford explains that only emu oil that bears the AEA certification seal is can be trusted as pure oil. That seal indicates that the oil bearing it has undergone rigorous testing for purity, and only then can consumers feel confident that any product is actually pure.

Would be consumers should always look for the AEA seal when looking for either pure oil or products containing emu oil. They should also be wary of products that are significantly cheaper, because their labels may not reveal other ingredients that they contain.
