In addition to the giveaways and the 25th customers free haircut, Fantastic Sams Perdido will donate 50% of all proceeds from December 13th to the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and enlisting the publics aid for the needs of injured service members, helping injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other, and proving unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.

Fantastic Sams Perdido is a full service hair salon owned and operated by Jane Hall and originally opened by both Jane and her late husband Robert Deke Hall on December 13, 1997, whom she is dedicating this anniversary celebration to. Her late husband served 29 years in the Air Force and later in life was injured, becoming a paraplegic. Jane said, Because I know what families and the injured go through, after taking care of my husband for 15 years, I believe so strongly in giving to a non-profit that helps those injured like Wounded Warrior Project. This is why the salon will be donating 50% of our proceeds from December 13th.

In addition to the anniversary, Perdido Salon also supports the local fire department and all local law enforcement by offering complimentary haircuts all year long. The salon also supports the troops every Friday with their military appreciation day with each stylist wearing red in solidarity for the troops and to show their team spirit.

Jane Hall said, I am thrilled to be celebrating our 15th anniversary with the best manager ever and a staff that is terrific. Our stylists keep very current with the latest fashions in hairstyling and attend classes and shows frequently. We couldnt have had the last 15 years without our customers either. This celebration is also a way to appreciate those who have been supporting us.

Mary Ellen DAmico has been the manager of the Perdido salon for 11 years, and a licensed cosmetologist for 38 years. Mary Ellen said, Jane is wonderful to work for. She is fair, a boss and a friend. Our staff is excellent; everyone knows how to pitch in when its needed. Everyone understands real team effort and is supportive of each other when things get busy.
