Part of a select group of educational organizations and publishers, Teacher Created Materials was among those celebrated for developing teaching resources that inspire healthy choices in food and activity.
Michelle Obama applauded the development of voluntary guidance to incorporate health information into textbooks and other learning materials. By incorporating healthy food and physical activity into the educational publications, publishers are making simple changes, like swapping out cupcakes for apples in math problems.
