No More Poverty co-founders Julian Omidi and his brother Michael Omidi, M.D. will now partner with the nonprofit organization We Care for Humanity to promote health, wellness, artistic expression, and financial education to regions all over the world.
We Care for Humanity is a groundbreaking organization that uses global digital technology to promote healthy relations between people of all nations, and we at No More Poverty are thrilled to promote such a forward-thinking philosophy, says Dr. Michael Omidi, co-founder of No More Poverty. We hope that their message of peace, justice and understanding through art and culture is heard far and wide, and we are very proud to offer all the support we can.
We Care for Humanity (http://www.wecareforhumanity.org) began in 2011 with the hope of offering a message of peace and harmony to everyone, regardless of location. The programs initiated by the organization are designed to educate citizens of the world on the subjects of personal empowerment, financial security, creative expression and physical health and wellbeing. These courses are offered through live streaming mediums free of charge.
We Care for Humanity is organizing two upcoming fundraising events:
The Concert to Feed the Homeless, a Woodstock style music festival to be held May 11, 2013 in Sun Valley, California. The event features live musical performances, fitness demonstrations and a beauty and health fair. Donations of food, clothing and blankets for the needy will be collected.
The Global Officials of Dignity Awards ceremony, honoring community leaders who have consistently demonstrated their passion for community building, civic pride and philanthropy throughout their careers. The ceremony will be held June 29, 2013 at the Academy of Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood.
No More Poverty (http://www.nmp.org) is a not-for-profit charity organization (with a pending 501(c)3 application) founded by brothers Dr. Michael Omidiand Julian Omidi. The organization seeks to end poverty at home and abroad by supporting the efforts of like-minded charities and agencies. Current efforts are focused on increasing awareness of and donations to charities already doing great work to address poverty and its staggering effects throughout the world. The plan is to expand our activities to include fostering business development and job creation in disenfranchised areas.
