Food4Patriots Responds to Increase in Caffeinated Foods with Suggestion to Stockpile Healthy Food

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) May 11, 2013

According to the Huffington Post, a number of companies are increasing their offerings of foods including some that seem to target children that have caffeine added to them. An example is a new product, Alert Energy Gum from Wrigley, which includes as much caffeine as one-half cup of coffee in a single piece.

Food4Patriots, the supplier of emergency food suitable for long-term storage, survival and emergency preparedness, believes that children and adolescents should not be the targets of caffeinated products.

In recent years, companies have added caffeine to a wide variety of products, including candy, nuts, jelly beans, chips, trail mix and others, and have used social media strategies to promote these energy foods.

Food4Patriots will be launching soon to help people prepare for emergency situations. Some of the foods that will be included in Food4Patriots 72-Hour Emergency Kit, 4-Week Emergency Kit and 3-Month Emergency Kit are granola, oatmeal, potato soup, chicken rice, chili, beef stroganoff and minestrone.

Those who order one of the Food4Patriots Emergency Kits will also receive four reports: The Top 10 Items Sold Out After Crisis, The Water Survival Guide, The Survival Garden Guide and How to Cut Your Grocery Bills in Half.

One of the ways to keep your food supply healthy is to grow some of your own food. With the gardening season finally coming around, check out this Power4Patriots blog post to learn how to keep your gardens soil as healthy as possible.
