Just What the Doctor Ordered: GW MFAs EpiCURE with Chef MDs Nabs National Telly Award

And the Telly Award goes tothe George Washington Medical Faculty Associates. The prestigious statuette that honors top cable, film and video productions nationwide has named GW MFAs entire EpiCURE with the Chef MDs series as a 2013 Bronze Award winner. Winners of this fierce competition were selected from out of nearly 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries.


EpiCURE with the Chef MDs pairs many of the nations top chefs with top docs from GW MFA to demonstrate healthy, delicious and easy-to-follow recipes. Humorously hosted by former Food Network personality Marc Silverstein, the informative series is aimed at helping viewers live healthier lives simply by improving their dietstastefully. Among the celebrity DC area chefs taking part: Patrick OConnell from the Inn at Little Washington, Robert Wiedmaier of Marcels, Bob Kinkead of Ancora, Jeff Tunks with Passion Food Hospitality and Chef Geoff Tracy of Chef Geoffs.


The recipes from Super Fruit Smoothies to Seared Scallops to Fishermans Stew - are aimed to support diabetics, heart patients, pregnant women, cancer patients, and people with food allergies or sensitivities including gluten allergies or lactose intolerance. As a whole, the series serves up great tastes, fresh ingredients and lots of fun.
