Dr. Jeffrey Kenkel Takes Part in the BodyWise 360 Challenge

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) March 26, 2013

Dallas plastic surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Kenkel is taking part in the BodyWise 360 Challenge alongside his patients as part of a program which is designed to support lifestyle changes together with cosmetic treatments for improved, long term results.

CoolSculpting is a procedure to eliminate body fat by lowering the temperature of the treated areas. It is able to painlessly and non-invasively remove stubborn fat cells which do not respond well to diet and exercise. The BodyWise 360 Challenge combines diet, fitness, and generalized wellness with the CoolSculpting treatments to maximize the results. "Coolsculpting is an alternative to liposuction in select patients. We know that a surgical or nonsurgical procedure is not a magic bullet.," says Dr. Kenkel.

Ideal candidates for CoolSculpting are within 20 percent of their ideal body weight. For some patients, a single treatment is all that is needed, but patients with larger, stubborn fatty deposits might need two treatments. "Every treatment plan is customized for each patient based on their unique circumstances and their individual goals," says Dr. Kenkel. "Patients are evaluated by our physicians to make sure they are candidates for such a procedure."

"We feel strongly that using a device such as this requires a partnership with our patients," explains Dr. Kenkel. "There is no question that the best results will be achieved not only from the CoolSculpt treatments but also a firm commitment to eat healthy, exercise, and maintain a general well-being. Our Body Wise 360 Challenge attempts to do just that."

As he goes through the program, Dr. Kenkel will monitor his results and keep a public journal of his progress and results. Dr. Kenkel will also be hosting an Open House for patients interested in learning more about CoolSculpting and taking part in the BodyWise challenge.

The Open House will be held Thursday, March 28th from 6 to 7 pm at the UT Southwestern Outpatient Building located at 1801 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas. The event is open the public. Anyone wanting to attend can RSVP by emailing confirm(at)utsouthwestern(dot)edu
