Manchester-Based SkinViva Welcome New Regulations for Cosmetic Treatments While Announcing New Training School

Manchester (PRWEB UK) 23 May 2013

A new report into the Regulation of Cosmetic Interventions in England was issued in April, ending months of speculation and clearly calling for better regulation of the industry.

The recommendations include specific controls around the use of dermal fillers - requiring them to be injected only by trained and qualified staff, as well as making fillers a prescription-only medicine and classing them as a medical device.

SkinViva are an established provider of non-surgical treatments with a soon-to-open training school for practitioners based in the North West. They welcome the news.

Clinical Director Dr Tim Pearce MB ChB BSc (Hons) MRCGP explained: As the report highlights, the cosmetic interventions industry is growing fast and on course to be worth
