As part of a larger initiative to educate pet parents on how to have the healthiest and happiest dogs and promote the importance of responsible dog parenting, The Dogington Post and Merrick Pet Care have teamed up to create Merrick Pet Cares Dogington University, a series of eight live online seminars presented by top animal health experts, which began June 6th and continues throughout the month of June. On Wednesday, June 19 at 7:00PM EST, Dr. Doug Kenney will present a live, free, one-hour seminar to readers and fans of the Dogington Post on the topic of pet health insurance.
Dr. Kenney is a 1977 graduate of Auburn Universitys School of Veterinary Medicine and practices small animal medicine and surgery at Houston Levee Animal Hospital in Cordova, Tennessee. He has a special interest in wellness care and is the author of The Wise Pet Owner, teaching pet owners to save money on their pets healthcare by taking steps to prevent many problems that veterinarians see everyday.
