Southern California Pet-Sitter/Dog-Walker Shares Personal Pet Experience With K9 Consults Nationwide

Studio City, CA (PRWEB) April 28, 2013

Ali Phillips is a lover of all animals, but her real expertise resides in her knowledge of dog ailments and holistic method of treatments. It all began with two rescued street dogs she adopted.

"My new pets had ailments that were beyond conventional treatment," Ali says. "They both had degenerative myelopathy (a progressive disease of the canine spinal cord) as they aged. Additionally, another rescued dog had lymphosarcoma, which I treated without chemo or radiation. I personally believe in quality of life over the treatments of last resort offered by Veterinary Oncologists. He lived the remainder of his life as a completely healthy and active dog, had lots of energy and gave me much love, as well as the motivation to help other pet guardians."

Allison can be found pet-sitting cats and dogs in the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles West Side and welcomes overnight stays to avoid the stresses of boarding. She recently provided rehabilitation for a double TPLO Black Labrador. "The rupturing of just one ACL ligament in a dog's knee and the subsequent TPLO surgery can be a difficult ordeal for any dog guardian," Ali continues. "But both knees presented an even more serious recovery. Most dog guardians are simply not equipped to properly care for their pet's post-op."

Allison provides holistic and nutritional K9 consulting for skin or teeth problems, arthritis, allergies and many digestive issues when a pet's conditions are not resolved easily, or you don't want to keep or even place your animals on meds. She gives tips on her FB page at http://www.facebook.com/holistictipsforpets and can be contacted for consultations by email at healthydogsandcats(at)gmail(dot)com.

Southern California Gluten/Food-Allergy/Toxin Expert Linda Crawford Rolls Out One Day VIP Fast~Start Program

Fountain Valley, CA (PRWEB) January 10, 2013

The search for healthy living through allergy-free eating is at an all-time high. People are looking to lead healthier lifestyles and live longer while still being able to live productively in a fast paced society. Linda Crawford, founder of Lifestyle Changes 2 Health, is a health coach who is an expert in gluten-free eating, managing food allergies and avoiding toxic home products. She has recently expanded her services to include an all-in-one-day program that helps clients understand the mechanics of reversing gluten-food allergy symptoms. This four-hour VIP Fast Start Program is a hands-on experience directly with Linda.

During this four-hour program, Linda takes her clients to a local Whole Foods Market, a national health food store, for a customized tour to learn about non-GMO foods, skin-hair care, and non-toxic household products to use. Crawford explains what clients should incorporate as well as avoid in order to reduce symptoms, soothe inflammation and heal the body from the inside out. This program is designed for clients to participate and gain first-hand knowledge while having a hands-on experience in learning how to make changes that often provide a noticeable improvement in symptoms, health and weight loss.

Having a strategic plan that works for both a personal and work schedule is a key element in getting started. People know they need to make changes, but dont know what steps to take next, so they feel paralyzed states Linda. The missing link is a hands on support system to guide and provide real-time information and tips throughout the process which can be overwhelming without help. This is where I am unique as a health coach, both in shopping and in your kitchen. I have faced my own challenges with gluten and food allergies for the last eight years. So I understand the frustration and uncertainty of not knowing what to buy or avoid during your meal planning.

People whose bodies cannot digest gluten, a protein found in wheat, rye and barley are prone to a triggered immune system that attacks the lining of the small intestine, causing diarrhea, bloating, brain fog and abdominal pain as some of the known symptoms. Unfortunately, the diagnosis is often elusive, costly and may be delayed for years. The good news is that people are taking a stance on their own by seeking the assistance of health coaches, like Linda, who will help them get their immune systems, eating habits, and lifestyle moving in the right direction again.

Individuals who want to get their eating and health habits under control with a gluten-free diet, reduce existing food allergies symptoms, and increase their energy levels can find more information about Linda Crawfords Fast Start VIP Day Program on her website at http://www.LifestyleChanges2Health.com. Linda recently hired Cheryl Heppard, a Michigan business coach, to help expand her services regarding her VIP Day offering.

Southern Cosmetic Laser Prepares for Spring with Sclerotherapy

Ladson, SC (PRWEB) March 26, 2013

Southern Cosmetic Laser, a laser treatment clinic in Ladson, helps clients with a variety of hair removal and skin care treatments. Everyone loves spring and summer weather, but for some, unwanted leg veins cause embarrassment and the desire to stay covered up. Southern Cosmetic Laser offers sclerotherapy, a non-invasive technique to treat those veins.

Sclerotherapy has been used to treat spider veins for over 100 years and is a safe, effective option to improve the appearance of leg vessels. Though spider veins are mainly a cosmetic procedure, the condition could result in leg swelling, discomfort or bleeding tendencies. The treatment process involves injecting a sclerosant into tiny pink vessels, also known as telangiectasias, and feeder vessels, also known as reticular veins. Depending on the choice of sclerosant, the agent closes the vessel and allows the body to metabolize and destroy the unwanted vessel. After 6-8 weeks, the areas heal.

This minor procedure is done with minimal pain and minimal side effects. The client will wear stockings to maximize treatment outcome. There are no restrictions in ambulation and there is a minor two week restriction in aerobic activity. Patients may require more than one treatment, and laser treatments may be needed to fully optimize the outcome.

Through sclerotherapy, Southern Cosmetic Laser can help clients feel better about wearing shorts and capris during the warm spring and summer months. Dedicated to helping their clients achieve their skin care goals and health, Southern Cosmetic Laser provides the highest quality treatments.

About the company:
