The medical examination cart is powered by CareClix as its core and incorporates up to 14 different FDA approved devices in order to transmit additional data into the CareClix core processor. Additionally, using similar devices such as glucometers, cardiac scales, and blood-pressure monitors, patients may be remotely monitored from home by medical providers in order to insure their conditions are remaining stable and not worsening. The proprietary web-based software, CareClix Home, may be accessed by patients from home via their Patient Portal and this clinical information may be transmitted from their devices such as a blue tooth glucometer for diabetics, creating an alert to a provider remotely. In essence, the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) is taken to the next level, and an integrated delivery system enhances the physician-patient relationship.
