Garcinia Cambogia is a revolutionary new product which has been shown to promote weight loss without diet or exercise. With the increasingly fast-paced, stressful modern lifestyle, eating a healthy diet full of fresh foods and getting regular exercise is tough, the alternatives being unhealthy packaged foods or junk food, and a sedentary lifestyle which will inevitably lead to illness. And most weight-loss plans, which essentially starve your body are unhealthy and just aren't sustainable.
Time For a Healthy New Alternative
This may be about to change with the break-through discovery of Garcinia Cambogia Extract. While a healthy diet, sensible exercise and stress management will always be the goal for long-term health and weight management, using Garcinia Cambogia for weight loss can help in a number of revolutionary new ways.
What Is Garcinia Cambogia?
Many weight-loss supplements contain artificial ingredients that the body doesn't even know how to process, while the FDA has found that many contain dangerous chemicals which cause various health problems such as heart problems and strokes. However, Garcinia Cambogia Extract is all-natural, being produced from the Garcinia Cambogia fruit, commonly known as the Tamarind, a small, pumpkin-shaped fruit native to Indonesia. The main ingredient in the extract is called hydroxicitric acid, commonly referred to as HCA. Quality Garcinia Cambogia HCA of 60% has been clinically shown to have a number of benefits.
Garcinia Cambogia Benefits
First, HCA literally blocks fat production by inhibiting citrate lyase, an enzyme which converts excess carbohydrates in the body to fat for storage. Most people likely eat more than they should to begin with, so storing fat for survival isn't necessary. And with today's carb-rich diet, there's an enormous amount of excess carbs available for converting to fat.
HCA also helps control cortisol, a hormone which is secreted during stress. Excess levels of cortisol have been linked to fat production, specifically omentum, or belly fat. Omentum is a layer of fat which resides beneath the muscles of the stomach, making it one of the most difficult forms of fat to lose. Further, omentum sends toxins to the liver where it impedes the immune system and contributes to higher levels of bad cholesterol (LDL). Controlling cortisol lowers LDL and belly fat production and supports appetite suppression.
Finally, HCA suppresses appetite by increasing serotonin, the brain's "feel good hormone". Serotonin is nature's own natural appetite suppressant. Lower levels of serotonin have been linked to depression, while higher levels reduce hunger cravings, lower stress and anxiety, and contribute to overall mood improvement. Decreasing stress also lowers cortisol levels, contributing to less development of abdominal fat.
Does Garcinia Cambogia For Weight Loss Really Work?
In a recent televised review of Garcinia Cambogia Dr. Oz said it "could be the magic ingredient that lets you lose weight without diet or exercise." Meanwhile, other studies show that it can be up to three times more effective at losing fat than diet and exercise alone. It's also one of the least expensive supplements available and easily obtainable as well.
In a recent clinical study at Purdue University which tracked 60 moderately obese people over 8 weeks, the subjects that were administered Garcinia Cambogia daily lost an average of 9 pounds. Further, they observed an increase in lean muscle mass, an increase in energy level and a decrease in LDL cholesterol, low-density lipoproteins, triglycerides and serum leptin levels.
But How Does One Choose a Good Garcinia Cambogia Extract?
Pure Garcinia Cambogia Extract, a new product available from Gold Source Labs, consists of a blend of Garcinia Cambogia Extract containing 60% standardized HCA, Potassium, Chromium and Calcium. According to Gold Source Labs' CEO, Mark Adams, "Our patented formula binds HCA to Potassium, Calcium and Chromium, which has been clinically shown to improve HCA absorption, control blood pressure and blood sugar levels and support muscle growth."
Adams explains that their formulation "ties it all together" for a product with "unparalleled quality and effectiveness". He also says that though many people have lost several pounds in only a few weeks without changing their current diet or exercise plans, these results can be absolutely multiplied by making sensible changes to one's diet and adding some regular exercise. Adams says, "Simply adjusting your diet a few days a week and getting out for a 10 minute walk on a regular basis can dramatically increase your results."
