San Diego, California (PRWEB) April 30, 2013

Dr. William Groff, respected dermatologist in San Diego, traveled to York, Pennsylvania this past week to teach an advanced injection training course on behalf of Allergan Inc., the makers of the popular injectable treatments Botox and Juvederm. The course focused on providing others in the cosmetic field with a better understanding of how to achieve optimal patient results through highly-developed injection techniques and placements.

The key to injecting toxins and fillers is to achieve a subtle result by carefully placing the cosmetic product. We never want a patient to look like theyve had work done, but instead, to appear naturally youthful, said Dr. Groff, San Diego dermatologist.

This isnt the first time Dr. Groff has had the pleasure of teaching others and sharing his knowledge in highly specialized injection approaches, as he serves as a trainer and key opinion leader for the Allergan company. In addition, Dr. Groff has traveled the world to share his expertise in regards to other popular non-invasive cosmetic products including facial fillers Restylane, Perlane, Dysport, Radiesse, Belotero, and Xeomin.

To be able to travel and teach others in the cosmetic field is a great experience to have. Im extremely humbled to be able to do what I do because it keeps me at the forefront of new advancements in non-invasive treatments, said Dr. Groff.

At GBFG&F Cosmetic Laser Dermatology center in San Diego, Dr. Groff helps his own patients overcome a number of skin troubles with Botox and dermal fillers that can occur as a result of the aging process, including wrinkles, fine lines, crows feet, and facial volume loss.

At my practice, Botox and facial fillers are often the go-to procedure for patients who want to achieve a more youthful appearance without any type of surgery. I can combine Botox Cosmetic and different facial fillers to develop a customized treatment plan for each person, leaving them with an extremely natural and refreshed look, said Dr. Groff. "This procedure has recently been dubbed a 'liquid facelift.'"

Improved hCG Diets From hCGTreatments / Diet Doc hCG Diets & Weight Loss Plans Teach Patients How to Lose Weight, Recently Linked to Weight Discrimination

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) April 29, 2013

Being overweight and not knowing how to lose weight can lead not only to serious physical ailments, but can also have a detrimental effect on an individuals mental health and self-esteem. A new study performed at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz in Germany considered the controllability of a stigma or stereotype and the influence of such controllability on self-esteem. The research showed that subjects suffering from discrimination for something that they could control, such as weight gain, experienced a lower self-esteem than subjects experiencing discrimination because of an uncontrollable factor such as age or sex. Diet Doc diet plans offer patients relief from discrimination, stereotypes and negative stigmas through fast weight loss, education on how to lose weight and healthy lifestyle changes. Patients can now take control of unnecessary and excess weight gain with personalized diet plans, education on healthy eating and prescription strength hCG.

Just released in the Journal of Social Psychology, researchers Steffen Nestler and Boris Egloff looked into a relatively unexplored area in the psychology field. Many studies have been performed and much data is available on stereotypes and stigma, but the data is mostly from the point of view of the individual doing the stereotyping. In the present study, Nestler and Egloff considered discrimination and stigma from the targets perception and found that the attributes of discrimination had a significant effect on the targets self-esteem. For instance, women who attributed negative feedback to discrimination had a higher self-esteem than women who attributed negative feedback to personal ability or control, such as weight gain. The results of this new study indicate that if individuals can attribute negative stigmas or stereotypes to discrimination, it prevents them from blaming themselves and those individuals have a higher self-esteem. The study also indicates that those individuals who attribute stereotypes to something that is within their own control, such as weight gain, have lower-self esteem. Diet Doc diet plans put the control back in patients hands by educating clients on how to lose weight through diet plans, important weight loss tools and healthy eating choices.

hCGTreatments/Diet Doc hCG Diet & Weight Loss Plans Now Teach Patients How to Lose Weight Safely and Offer Alternative to Weight Loss Surgery Now Linked to Colon Cancer

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) May 23, 2013

With rates of obesity at an all time high, more and more people are searching for answers on how to lose weight. Advances in medicine and technology now offer people the option of going under the knife in an attempt to shed those extra pounds. Unfortunately the benefits of weight loss surgery can be significantly outweighed by the negative health consequences that often accompany them. Now a new study adds yet another concern to consider before undergoing invasive surgery, colon cancer. Diet Doc was created to offer patients a safer and faster road to weight management through personalized hCG diets and education on how to lose weight the right way. They are committed to showing patients how simple it can be to overcome initial weight loss hurdles and begin leading a healthy lifestyle free from obesity, without risky surgery.

As reported this week on Yahoo Health, a group of Swedish and American researchers studied the health and medical records of over 77,000 obese individuals and found that the risk for colorectal cancer was doubled for obese subjects that underwent weight loss surgery. Dr. Jesper Lagergren, the study's senior author and a professor at both the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and King's College London, indicated that this increase is not a "negligible risk increase, but it should not be of any major concern for the individual patient since the absolute risk is still low." Diet Docs team of physicians is committed to helping patients learn how to lose weight fast through medical weight loss and healthy eating and believes that any cancer risk is too high of a risk when considering weight loss surgery. Because hCG diets are created specifically for each patient, they allow patients to understand how their body responds to weight reduction and how to lose weight the best way for their body type.

Each potential Diet Doc patient will meet with a Diet Doc physician to determine whether hCG diets can help them learn how to lose weight and whether the patient has underlying medical concerns that could potentially be causing weight gain. Following this consultation the patient is prescribed all appropriate medical weight loss aids, such as prescription hCG treatments, to help reach initial weight goals. hCG treatments are used as a weight loss tool for hCG diet plans and utilize a hormone that is naturally produced in pregnant women to suppress the appetite and mobilize excess fat storage.

While the patients appetite is suppressed, they are able to work closely with Diet Docs weight management coaches and certified nutritionists to develop a healthy eating plan free of processed sugars, fats and unhealthy carbohydrates. Patients participating in hCG diets will learn how to lose weight safely through energy packed diets rich in essential nutrients and minerals. The goal for Diet Docs hCG diets is to introduce patients to healthy eating and healthy lifestyles so that patients can maintain their results over time and begin to make lasting healthy eating choices for a lifetime. Free from major side-effects, a prescription hCG diet plan offers patients nationwide a safe and effective alternative to invasive and often dangerous weight loss surgery.
